Zur has over 25 years of executive experience working with high-tech, high-growth companies and venture capital firms. He's experienced in co-founding and spanning start-ups to billion dollar corporations.

Zur has over 25 years of executive experience working with high-tech, high-growth companies and venture capital firms. He's experienced in co-founding and spanning start-ups to billion dollar corporations.

Prior to joining WeFi, Zur Feldman was a venture partner in Pitango, Israel's largest VC firm, where he focused on various investment initiatives in public and matured companies.

Prior to Pitango, Zur Feldman was selected by Microsoft, Echostar, Gilat and ING to co-found and lead StarBand Communications Inc., the first high-speed two-way consumer satellite broadband service in the world. He served as Chairman and CEO for 5 years and created a "new category" of satellite Internet services, serving tens of thousands of customers living in rural areas across the US, Central America, Mexico and Canada.

For the 13 years prior to joining StarBand, Zur served in different Senior Executive positions at Packard Bell Electronics. As the Executive Vice President of Operations, Zur managed a massive relocation of Packard Bell's HQ operations following the Northbridge earthquake in 1995 - resulting in the largest PC manufacturing facility in the world, housed under a single roof. While at Packard Bell, Zur led the integration efforts for several M&A including; Zenith Corp. and NEC USA Corp.

Zur Feldman is a graduate of the Harvard Business School program for Senior Executives, the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Management for Executives and of the Business and Management program at UCLA, CA. Zur also holds a B.A. in Photojournalism, TV Broadcasting and Communications from New York University, N.Y.

Shimon Scherzer

CTO and Co-founder

Shimon Scherzer has over 25 years of experience in the cellular sector with specific expertise in cellular network performance and radio technologies.

Shimon has managed programs and R&D efforts in theses fields both as a Captain in the military and as a senior executive and founder of technology companies.

Prior to founding WeFi, Shimon founded Kiwi Networks. Kiwi Networks developed radio interference resistant communication links. Kiwi Networks was acquired by Colubris Networks. Prior to Kiwi, Shimon founded Adaptive Telecom which built smart antenna solutions for CDMA base stations. Adaptive Telecom was acquired by Metawave Communications.

Shimon is the inventor of more than 25 patents. He holds a BScEE from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Shy Basson

CFO and Head of Operations

Shy Basson is in-charge of all of the financial, legal and operations activities at WeFi. Shy brings over 10 years of experience in all aspects of financial management...

Shy Basson is in-charge of all of the financial, legal and operations activities at WeFi. Shy brings over 10 years of experience in all aspects of financial management, funding, operations, legal and business development.

Prior to joining WeFi, Shy led the US operations and business activates of ICQ at AOL. Prior AOL Shy was the CFO of ICQ (Acquired by AOL). Prior ICQ Shy served as corporate controller of ClearForest (Acquired by Thomson Reuters).

From 1997 to 2000, Shy was at PWC and was responsible for customers in the high-tech, communication and services industries.

Shy holds a BA in Business Management (Graduated with excellence - Magna Cum laude), major in Accounting, from the Management College .He is a CPA and a member of the Israeli Certified Public Accountants Chamber.

Eran Naveh

VP Product Strategy

Eran is responsible of WeFi's product strategy, management and roadmap. Eran has over 25 years of experience fixed and mobile telecoms operations and vendors.

Eran is responsible of WeFi's product strategy, management and roadmap. Eran has over 25 years of experience fixed and mobile telecoms operations and vendors.

Prior to joining WeFi, Eran was consulting on business and technology strategy for mobile operators and Internet service providers, such as Partner Communications Company/Orange Israel (NASDAQ: PTNR) and 012 Smile (Nasdaq: SMLC).

From 1998 to 2005, Eran was pivotal in the launch and success of Partner Communications/Orange Israel (NASDAQ: PTNR), focusing on the (then futuristic) data service and content applications. Eran established an internal R&D department in Partner and from 2001 until 2005 was the company's Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Prior to the foundation of Orange in 1998, Eran was founder and VP R&D for AretĂȘ Information Technologies, that developed a cutting-edge artificial intelligence based search engine. AretĂȘ operated from 1995 to 1998.

From 1986 to 1991, Eran led the development and launch of the Israeli Defense Forces Strategic Data Communications network.

Patrick Guay

Mr. Guay has more than 22 years of technology sales, marketing, product management, and general management experience. He has held a variety of senior leadership positions scaling venture backed start-ups and publicly traded companies.

Prior to joining Wefi, Patrick most recently served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing of Anobit, a developer of solid-state disk storage systems. The company marketed to mobile, enterprise and server / storage OEMs and was acquired by Apple.

Prior to Anobit, Patrick was EVP of Global Sales and General Manager of Voltaire, a leading provider of scale-out computing fabrics for data centers and high performance computing environments. Under his leadership, the company grew to the revenue level supporting a successful initial public offering in 2007 and managing the business post-IPO to an acquisition by Mellanox in 2010.

Prior to joining Voltaire Mr. Guay held leadership positions at netForensics Inc., a provider of security information management solutions, and at at 3Com Corporation, a global provider of network solutions, including Vice President Worldwide Marketing and Vice President and General Manager LAN Infrastructure Division. From 1989 to 1993 Mr. Guay held a series of business development positions at Control Data Corporation, a supercomputer firm.

Sheya Hertz

Sheya Hertz is a Human Resources and Organizational Consultant in WeFi and in various other companies. She is supporting senior managers in organization development and org growth, e.g. change and transition, people related processes, management and leadership development, compensation and benefit, hiring etc. Sheya is an expert in designing HR infrastructure and processes for benefits, culture, training and hiring. Sheya is also a certified CTI life coach and consultant for several different private customers.

Prior to joining WeFi, Sheya worked at Intel for 14 years in several groups within the Human Resources department, such as Organizational Development, Training, Compensation and Global Benefits design. Until 2007 she managed the Work life and Wellbeing group in Israel and was responsible for proliferation of Work life initiatives in Israel and other Intel sites across the globe. Until 2009 she was responsible for management and leadership development for the EMEA region at Intel.

Sheya's work in Israel had a significant impact inside and outside Intel on the local market which adopted many of the cultural and benefits programs that she designed.

Sheya started her career as the culture and social department manager in the Ministry of Absorption in Israel, part of her role was to design culture and social programmes for young immigrants to Israel.

Sheya has two Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and in Behavioral Science, Management and Economics from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ben-Gurion University and she is a certified CTI life coach.

Sheya lectures and conduct workshops in several fields in HR to Human Resource professionals, managers and leader in various organizations.

She resides in Ramat Ha'Sharon with her husband and 2 daughters.

Barry Eggers

Barry is a founder of Lightspeed and focuses primarily on investments in the areas of infrastructure technologies, communications and networking, digital media and semiconductors.

Barry is a founder of Lightspeed and focuses primarily on investments in the areas of infrastructure technologies, communications and networking, digital media and semiconductors.

He has eleven years of venture capital experience and ten years of operating experience.

Prior to joining Lightspeed, Barry held senior business development and operational roles at Cisco Systems from 1991-1997. While at Cisco, Barry was responsible for establishing several of the company's largest distribution channels with OEMs, system integrators and VARs. Also at Cisco, he developed the initial merger and acquisition process and directed the first wave of Cisco's acquisitions and integrations.

Barry has been named multiple times to the Forbes Midas List of top venture capital investors.

Barry holds a BA in Economics and Business from UCLA and an MBA from Stanford University.

Mr. Rami Kalish has extensive experience in venture capital and international management in the high-tech environment. Mr. Kalish has been active in the field of venture capital since 1992, and has served as Managing General Partner since that time.

Prior to founding Pitango (originally under the name Polaris), Mr. Kalish garnered rich managerial experience at high-technology firms in the U.S., Europe and Israel. He previously held sales and marketing positions at IBM and senior executive roles at Orbotech (NASDAQ:ORBK), a leading manufacturer of capital equipment for the PCB and semiconductor industries.

He earned a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Information Science from the Technion Institute of Technology. Beyond WeFi some of the Board of Directors on which Mr. Kalish previously served include VocalTec (VOCL), Retalix (RTLX), Optibase (OBAS), RADWARE (RDWR) and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of Surf, ForeScout and Comsys, among others.

Mr. Kalish was, for many years, also a member of the Board of the Israel Venture Association (IVA).

Mike Roudi is Time Warner Cable's Senior Vice President of Mobile Services. In this role, he is responsible for creating and executing the Company's overall mobile strategy and managing the development and deployment of TWC's mobile products and services. He oversees business planning, partnership negotiations, product development, operations, and overall product marketing for the company's mobile products as well as its regional WiFi initiatives.

Mr. Roudi is TWC's executive responsible for the development and deployment of its newest mobile partnership with Verizon Wireless. He is also the Company's lead representative with two joint ventures, SpectrumCo, an entity that acquired nationwide spectrum in the FCC's Advance Wireless Spectrum auction, and TWC's recently announced Joint Venture with Verizon Wireless.

From 2004-2006, Mr. Roudi served as Founder and President of MCR Partners, a consulting firm that specializes in product marketing strategy, program execution, and new product development for the communications and hi-tech industries. Prior to founding MCR Partners, he held executive-level positions at AT&T, VarTec Telecom and Excel Communications. While at VarTec and Excel, Mr. Roudi was responsible for managing their wireless MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) product portfolios.

Mr. Roudi serves on the Board of Directors for WeFi, a privately held start-up that develops WiFi product and services. Mr. Roudi has also served on the Board of Advisors of Rutberg & Co's Wireless Influencers Conference since 2006.

Dr. Vardi is one of the pioneers of the high-tech industry in Israel. Dr. Vardi leverages his broad technology background and experience gained from a successful track record of high-tech ventures and investments, to provide valuable insight into emerging markets, technologies, and companies.

Dr. Vardi is the founding investor and the former Chairman of Mirabilis Ltd, the creator of the highly popular instant messaging program ICQ. The company was acquired by AOL, to which he still serves as an advisor.

Dr. Vardi is also a veteran of a long civil service career where he served the Government of Israel as Director General of the Development and Energy ministries, and served as special advisor to the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Finance during Israel's peace negotiations. He was on the Advisory Board of the Bank of Israel, and is actively involved in several public organizations and institutions.

Dr. Vardi is a graduate of the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, where he earned Doctor of Science degree (thesis awarded the Kennedy - Leigh prize), a Master of Science degree (dissertation with distinction) in Operations Research, and a Bachelor of Science degree (summa cum laude) in Industrial Management Engineering.

Christian Lee is a Vice President in the Investments group at Time Warner Cable where he is responsible for evaluating and executing investments, acquisitions, and divestitures across all of TWC's businesses and new business initiatives.

During his career he has completed more than twenty deals, including the $18 billion acquisition of Adelphia Cable out of bankruptcy in 2006, the $3.2 billion investment in Clearwire along with Comcast, Google, and Intel in 2008, and the recent spin-off of Time Warner Cable from Time Warner Inc.

Prior to working at Time Warner Cable he worked in the M&A department at Time Warner and before that he worked in investment banking at Citigroup.

Christian received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Carleton College. He is on the Alumni Board of Carleton College and a member of the Columbia Business School Media Forum.
